Question 1

How does Project Deck work?

Accepted Answer

Browse local contractor profiles, past work and reviews, then message a business directly. Or post a project with photos so eligible contractors can send quotes. Responses depend on contractor availability.

Question 2

Is Project Deck free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. During the current launch, you can sign up, post projects or create a contractor profile without a subscription. If pricing changes in the future, we will explain it before you choose a paid option.

Question 3

Is my home address visible to everyone?

Accepted Answer

No. Your exact project address stays private while your job is open. It is shared with the contractor you hire so they know where the work takes place.

Question 4

Does Project Deck perform the work?

Accepted Answer

No. Project Deck runs the marketplace where customers and local contractors or trades businesses find each other. Quotes, agreements and the work itself are arranged directly between you and the independent contractor or business you hire. Project Deck does not currently verify licences, insurance or other credentials. Confirm required qualifications, insurance, scope and payment terms before work begins.

Question 5

I'm a contractor or run a trades business. Can I join now?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Signup is open — no invite code needed. Whether you're an independent tradesperson or run a contracting company, create your profile, select the services you offer and discover relevant local work as Project Deck grows.
